The Glenolden house was a good first house and one I'll miss - mostly that the majority of work was done! It just wasn't where I wanted to be in the long term with a few shortcomings - shared drive, no garage, and smaller than I wanted. The house had good bones and the majority of it's original details - oh and new central air and boiler (I really miss that!) Most of the work involved bringing back the character of the place, wallpaper stripping, painting, etc. and I did do a bathroom and kitchen gut. It was a good place to learn on and help me figure out how much of a project I was willing to take on for the next house. Someday the Hall house should even rival this..... someday!
